South Philadelphia location for new Sixers, Flyers and WNBA arena revealed

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Big changes are planned for the sports complex in South Philadelphia.

Action News has learned where the new Sixers, Flyers and WNBA arena will be constructed.

It will be built at the southeast corner of Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, right next to SEPTA's Broad Street Line. That was where the old Spectrum arena was located.

This would replace the current Xfinity Mobile Arena.

Comcast Spectacor did not offer a timeline for construction.
